Flexible Plan Investments, Ltd. has partnered with Investors Capital Advisory Services to introduce ICAS — Capital Leaders Portfolios.  The ICAS — Capital Leaders Portfolios are sub-advised by Flexible Plan and offer multiple risk profiles within a wrap account, select variable annuities, and select group retirement products.

These new portfolios apply relative strength management to ETFs and stock baskets within a mutual fund wrapper.  The stock baskets bridge the gap between static ETF indexes and actively managed mutual funds.  Flexible Plan uses its momentum tracking software to rank ETFs and up to 50 stock baskets designed to emulate fundamental stock picking methodologies of some of Wall Street’s most astute investors.  The Capital Leaders approach seeks to stay invested in the methodologies that are working best in each market cycle. In addition to using a widely diversified domestic and international portfolio, hedging is also used to reduce risk exposure.

Flexible Plan’s investment approach is simple to explain: “We buy the leaders and sell the laggards.” Flexible Plan employs an active approach to money management, reallocating to the top-performers based on proprietary relative-strength analysis, seeking to reduce risk while providing market level returns.
